Creswell Scouts among more than 90 tree-planting volunteers
On Saturday, Sept. 27, more than 90 volunteers dedicated their afternoon to planting trees and shrubs in the Pine Meadows Campground at Cottage Grove Lake.

The tree-planting project was part of National Public Lands Day, the nation's largest annual, single-day volunteer restoration effort for America's public lands. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the agency that manages Pine Meadows Campground, sponsored the local event.
